    Continental Inc is looking to hire an highly experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Anderson, Indiana. This position requires the ability to work in a manufacturing facility that is fast-paced and requires excellent technical skills and miscellaneous work as assigned.

     

     

     


     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Disassembles, fixes and re-assemble electrical gear
    • Experience with reducers/adaptors
    • Experience with silos, pumps, heat exchangers and bag filters
    • Knows welding (electric and wire) and carpentry
    • Can use pillar drill and lathe
    • Very good electric and electronic knowledge
    • Electrical Experience: 480v ac, switchgear, 24vdc, 110vac
    • PLC: Must be extremely proficient in PLC’s (To include touchscreens, changing values and bits, and installs.)
    • Troubleshooting experience
    • Hydraulic experience
    • Pneumatic experience
    • Independent worker

     

    A MUST: Ability to create and follow service schedules, complete service calls in a timely manner, install equipment, be courteous, respectful, and patient. Excellent verbal and written skills are expected


     

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Associate degree or minimum of two (5) years’ experience in maintenance preferred

     

     

    Experience and Skills

    • Proactive, curious, flexible, able to set priorities
    • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics,
    • Available to work overtime and during holidays
    • Able to work in a physically demanding work environment
    • Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
